Q: When was our government founded?
A: Our government was founded as early as 1776, but is was only until 1787 that our Constitution created and became the basis for our government.

Q: How often do we re-elect Presidents?
A: The President of the United States is elected once every 4 years in November.

Q: How many times can someone run for President and how many times can someone become elected President.
A: Someone can run for President for as many times as they want, but they can only be elected President twice.

Q: My parents and friends are Republicans, do I have to vote Republican like them?
A:
The choice is yours. The beauty of our political system is that you can think and choose for yourself.

Q: Can I vote for someone on the Democratic side and the Republican side?
A: In the same election, no, but you do not have to stay with one party with each election.

Q: There seems to be some problems with how the web site displays. Why is that?
A: It may be your web browser, as this web site is best viewed in Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.

Q: When viewing a web page, I get a security warning near the top of my web page, what does this mean? Am I at risk?
